The roller and gua sha are carved from natural obsidian, a volcanic stone formed through cooling lava, with a naturally smooth, glass-like surface and subtle variations in depth and texture from piece to piece. It is chosen not for what it claims to do, but for how it feels against the skin: smooth, cool, and grounded to the touch.

Two Tools, One Practice

The set includes two tools. A dual-ended roller—5.8cm for the cheeks and neck, 4.5cm for the under-eye area—and a finger-shaped gua sha tool that follows the curve of the jaw and cheekbones. Each piece is weighted to sit comfortably in the hand.

There is no right or wrong way to use them. Glide the roller upward and outward from neck to forehead. Use the gua sha along the jawline and cheekbones. The tools are meant to be used intuitively—following the contours of your face, not a prescribed sequence.

Use & Care

Start with a clean face and apply a facial oil or serum. Roll gently in upward and outward strokes, starting from the neck and moving toward the forehead.

Use the small roller head around the eyes. Glide the gua sha tool flat against the skin (at a slight angle) along the jawline, cheekbones, and brow bone.

Clean after each use with a soft, damp cloth. For an extra cooling effect, keep the set in the refrigerator.

Avoid dropping the tools on hard surfaces, as natural stone can chip or crack.

Complete the Ritual

Keep the set where you can see it. A bathroom shelf, a bedside table, a small tray near your mirror. When you reach for it, do so without rush.
